Mara likes light dirt and asphalt and doesn’t really like climbs. With that in mind, the waterfall-to-waterfall race for Mara has a minimum elevation gain of 92m. The terrain is a mix of asphalt and fine gravel.
The easy terrain provided by “MARA” will provide cyclists with unforgettable pleasures as they ride along Trebižat, through Ljubuški to the Kravica waterfall. See you!
RACE START
The start of the “MARA 21.1K” race is on Sunday, May 25th at 12:00 pm at the Koćuša waterfall, or at 1:00 pm for the “Biciklijada – Mara”
Downloading starter packages:
Friday 23.5. from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, Saturday 24.5. from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm – Kravica Waterfall and Sunday 25.5. from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. – Koćuša waterfall.
Finishof the race is at central place of the festival – Kravica waterfall.
After the race, all cyclists will be transported by bus back to the Koćuša waterfall, where they can park their cars upon arrival at the start. The bus will depart from the Kravica waterfall at 4:00 PM after the race.
RACE TRACK
Mara starts from the Koćuše waterfall, follows the asphalt for about 600m where she descends onto a field path to bypass the main road, which she crosses again with caution after 1km, and then joins our famous bajer and rides downstream along a fine embankment for the next 9km. We have already learned that Mara loves asphalt, so now she turns onto the main road with maximum caution and rides the next 11km with an escort to the finish line at the Kravica waterfall.
There are 2 refreshment stations on the route and it is secured by the medical service, the mountain rescue service and the police.
START – Koćuša waterfall – Veljaci – Bayer embankment – Otok bridge – Otunj bridge – Crvengorski bridge – Zelića bridge – Humac – Ljubuški town – Predgrađe – Staje – Kravica waterfall – FINISH
REGISTRATION FEE
When registering for the bicycle race “MARA”, if you are a competitor of the BiH Championship, select one of the following categories, if you are not, select the category “MARA 21.1k”:

PAYMENT
- After registering for the race, the registration fee must be paid
- The registration fee is 30KM.
The registration fee for group applications of 10 or more competitors is 25KM. - Applications out of date will not be considered
- All competitors by confirming the application agree to the rules of participation set by the organizers, which are within the application form
- The number of participants is limited
