Note: It is desirable that participants in costumes or special departments (theme “Roman period”, etc.) apply to the Ljubuška ten “Scunasticus”. Special prizes will be awarded to the best teams or individuals with the most interesting and beautiful costumes!

Archaeological heritage, which has been partly neglected or not sufficiently utilized, will once again come into the focus of society, as well as institutions that care about the preservation and presentation of cultural and historical assets. It is especially worth highlighting the revival of the oldest Ljubuški toponym Pagus Scunasticus, known from an ancient monument that speaks of the founding of a Roman veteran settlement in 15 AD. For this reason, the title of this race is named after the aforementioned toponym, and the start of the race starts from the Roman military settlement of Bigeste in Gračine.
RACE START
The start of the “SCUNASTICUS” race is on Saturday, May 24th. at 18:30 at the Roman military camp in Gračine.

Friday 23.5. from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm and Saturday 24.5. from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm – Kravica Waterfall
Finishof the race is at central place of the festival – Kravica waterfall.
Bus transportation to the start of the race has been organized for all runners. The bus departs from the Kravica waterfall at 5:30 PM.
RACE TRACK
The “Scunasticus” race course starts at the Roman military camp at Gračine and immediately connects with the half marathon course. It goes along the main road through the town of Ljubuški and along a side road towards the finish line, where it passes for a small part over macadam terrain. The finish line is located at the Kravica waterfall.
There are 4 refreshment stations on the route and it is secured by the medical service, mountain rescue service and the police.

- After registering for the race, the registration fee must be paid
- Registration fee is 30 KM
- The registration fee for group applications of 10 or more competitors is 25 KM
- Applications out of date will not be considered
- All competitors by confirming the application agree to the rules of participation set by the organizers, which are within the application form
